Mental Health services are highly sought after in the challenging world in which we live. Imagine being in need and contacting someone for support only being left for days awaiting a response. We partner with Mental Health Practices to provide the administrative support they need to manage new and current patient inquiries as well as assisting owners with procedures to help streamline processes.

Note: Our positions are 1099 positions.
Responsibilities of a Mental Health Virtual Assistant
These are the daily tasks and projects that you will be working on for each practice that you support.
- Intake Coordination
- Reply to calls and online inquiries and screen candidates to match with potential therapist/med management professional. Use online electronic health care platforms to add and manage clients.
- Referral Tracking
- Log inquiries to track whether they were scheduled/not scheduled or waitlisted.
- Insurance Verifications
- Work with practice billing company regarding insurance questions and verifications or perform online verifications.
- General Administration
- Provide personalized assistance to clinicians regarding reschedules, additional documents needed, record releases, discharges and other projects as needed.
Skills Needed:
- Technical abilities to include learning, using, and troubleshooting new
software independently. - Managing confidential information (HIPPA Training Certificate will be
required) - Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Prioritizing tasks between practices
- Excellent time management skills
Qualifications:
- Experience in the mental health industry (preferred). Also, can have lived experience (family member, volunteer, etc)
- Quiet workspace with dedicated office set-up (High speed internet, Microsoft, Webcam for Zoom meetings, headphones, smartphone)
- Previous remote work experience
- 2+ years administrative experience
- Availability to be attentive to practice needs, Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM ET
Additional Details:
- Our Mental Health Virtual Assistants are required to have availability Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM ET.
- You plan your day based on the needs of the practices you serve.
- Practices are assigned with a set number of hours per month, so you know what to expect in relation to support needed.
- If we have current openings, we will reply to your email within one-business day and if we are not, we will save your resume for when
